There are two types of Domicile Certificate:- a). Domicile by Birth
b). Domicile by resident.
The person resides in the
Jiribam Sub-Division, the Domicile Certificate shall be issued by the Additional
Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam.
Procedure for obtaining Domicile
Certificate (persons reside in Porompat, Sawombung & Keirao Bitra):- A plain
application addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East District
affix with a court fee of Re. 1/- (Rupee one) shall be submitted to the
Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Imphal East District. The applicant shall be
identified by the concerned
Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) or a gazette Officer. The application shall also be
enclosed with photocopy of latest electric and land revenue bill clearance
receipts. For the persons reside in Jiribam Sub-Division, the application shall be addressed to the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jiribam Sub-Division along with the documents mentioned above. DOMICILE CERTIFICATE Office Timings: 9.30 am to 4.30 pm (Winter)
INCOME CERTIFICATE: Income certificate shall be issued by the concerned Circle SDC for ending March of the year. An application affix with court fee of Re. 1/- (Rupee one) address to the concerned Circle Sub-Deputy Collector shall be submitted to the office of the concerned Circle SDC during office hour. Proforma: BIRTH & DEATH CERTIFICATE:
Birth & Death Certificate is
issued by the concerned Block Development Officer in case the village is covered by a Block with the
submission of related reports issued by the Hospital/Pradhan/Zilla Parishad
Members.
In Municipality Area, the
certificate is issued by the Municipality Authority with the submission
of related documents issued by the concerned Hospital/Ward Commissioner.
