CIC PROJECT

        In Imphal East District there shall be 4 (four) COMMUNITY  
          INFORMATION CENTRE (CIC). They are :-

          1. CIC, Sawombung Block under pilot project.
          2. CIC, Keirao Bitra under pilot project.
          3. CIC, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex under 1st Phase.
          4. CIC, Jiribam Block under 2nd Phase.

          Activities/Achievements of CICs under Pilot Project :-

          CIC, Sawombung (from 10-12-2001 to 12-6-2002)

          1).  Total Number of visitors : 2100 persons.
          2).  Total Number of trainee participants for one week computer Awareness
                 =160
          3).  Number of Local Clubs/Schools/Colleges attended 1 (one) week
                 Computer   awareness   Programme  = 18 Nos.

          CIC, Keirao Bitra (from 1/9/2001 to 12/6/2002) :-

          1) Total Number of Visitors :-1211
          2) Total Number of trainee participants for one week computer Awareness
                = 142
          3)  Total Amount collected from 3/9/2001 to 11/6/2002 =  Rs.13, 121/-
